As you can see comparing it to the ones below, the fetch has moved west at roughly 600nm per day, which is the speed at which those waves were travelling (thanks to Pat Caldwell for the info). That means that the winds have been pushing the same waves for three days, following them over the ocean. This situation is called "captured" fetch, and it's one of the key ingredients for big swells. The tow crew will be probably at Jaws wit thir stinky jet skis and the other outer reefs.
